In my opinion there was too much chocolate sauce. I put 1/2 cup on the crust and then put 1/2 cup on the top of the pie. I had about 1 cup of chocolate left over. Why so much chocolate of you are only going to use 1 cup????? J haven't tasted it yet but I'm sure that it is yummy....

I'm all for the bacon and peanut butter combo, but the list of ingredients for this pie is totally ridiculous. If I'm going to splurge on that kind of caloric intake, I can guarantee you it won't be on this pie.

I must have done something wrong because this pie was awful. The filling didn't set up and it was super sweet....didn't like it at all and won't make it again...Sorry

I agree with 1000 calories a slice being too much, but you can make a few small changes to cut the calories almost in half. Replace the sugar with Splenda, replace the original Cool Whip with the fat free version, and cut your pie into 12 slices. The calorie count drops to 600. If you still want the bigger slices, you can still drop 100 over 100 calories a slice by making the substitutions. I think you can buy fat free evaporated milk too.

OMG - all I had to do is look at the calorie count, and I won't be making this. maybe if there were a "short-cut" version of this with not so many bad calories...

I agree with everyone else... this made WAY too much chocolate sauce. The bacon was interesting, my husband loved it, but I would have preferred it without. The bananas added a lovely touch. The filling was amazing!

I doubled this recipe to make 1 pie with bacon and 1 without. Hubby was kind of leary about a pie with peanut butter and bacon! I doubled everything but did not need to double the chocolate sauce! Way too much! I put in into small jars and gave it away! I will make this again but cut the sauce recipe in half! The pies were yummy!

The pie was yummy. I didn't taste the bacon, but I think it added that salty vs. sweet taste. Next time I will leave out the bacon and use chopped peanuts. As for the chocolate sauce, it made way to much! I thought I made a mistake so I checked the recipe ten times. Next time I will make it with half of the milk and chocolate. As for eating pie. Everything in moderation! Tomorrow have salad.

Make sure bacon is very crisp. Use 1/2 the chocolate sauce or it makes it soggy. I made my own adjustments after making it as the recipe states...I used a chocolate cookie crust. Used 8 pieces of bacon instead of 6. Used 2 bananas instead of 1. Freeze pie for 30 minutes then drizzle Magic Chocolate Shell ice cream topping on top, then moved it to the fridge.
