i loved the way these looked so i thought how bad can they be. well they are not the chocolate peanut butter decadent taste i thought they should be. they were not very sweet and a little on the bitter side. i would not recommend them.

I have been wanting to make these for a while. I finally did and wow, it was really a waste of ingredients. Very bland. I had a little chocolate batter left over, no big deal, so I made a little cake out of it. Absolutely NO flavor whatsoever. The peanut butter filling was too dense. Very greasy too. The chips have a toasted taste to them, yuck. I highly don't recommend.

I was really looking forward to making these but am very disappointed. They are bland and not at all that rich, yummy chocolate peanut butter taste I was looking for. I will say they are moist but I am supposed to be bringing them to a BBQ this weekend and am going to get something else to make, happy I made them a little early so I still have time to make something else.

I opted 2 substitute 1/2 C. of the flour with crushed Fiber One Cereal and turned out great- almost a muffin instead of cupcake.

These cupcakes for a beginner were a little much. This was my first time baking something from scratch so I felt like when it came to the ingredients they could have been a little more specific. Example:Brown Sugar, I got to the store and didn't know whether to get Light Brown Sugar or Dark. I wasn't sure if this was going to make a difference in the taste or not so I almost didn't make them because of this. Other than that the cupcakes came out very good and they got many compliments. So in terms of taste I guess they get more than 3 stars.

I made these cupcakes for my group at work. OMG they are so good. The peanut butter and chocolate flavors are in perfect balance. Additionally, the cake is super moist. I think most cupcakes suffer from being too dry. I frosted them with a peanut-butter/powdered surgar frosting for additional appeal.

I am a PB/chocolate lover so I couldnt wait to make these. These were delicious. They came out moist and have a good combo of PB/chocolate. They were a little time consuming b/c you have to layer the batters though.

Wonderful cupcakes! Not as sweet as I was expecting (which was a nice surprise). The chips on top give it an extra little sweetness to make them just perfect. Easy to make! A definite winner in our house!
