I made this last night to bring to a neighborhood party and it got RAVE reviews - some texted me this morning for the recipe. I couldn't find fresh hazelnuts, so I substituted walnuts, which worked out great. This was my first time working with the pillsbury crescents, and I made the wise decision to buy an extra roll just in case - and I needed it, because it took a little getting used to before I perfected the shape and working with the dough. I think next time I might add a little bit of liquor (like Frangelica or Kahlua) to the hazelnut (I used Nutella brand) to add a little zing!

LOVE this recipe! It is super easy and has turned out perfectly both times I have used it! The first time I made about 60 turnovers for Teacher Appreciation week at my son's school. I got lots of compliments...it stood out among the brownies and cookies! I would definitely recommend this recipe to even beginner cooks!
