after the cake has cooled, I spread a layer of rasberry seedless jam on top of cake, then cover with the choc. glaze as directed. top with fresh rasberry around the rim.

This cake is very good! It is rich and smooth like dove chocolate. It makes a beautiful presentation with the smooth glaze on top.
To those who had cooked egg pieces in theirs I got around that by cooling the chocolate mixture to 140 degrees before incorporating the beaten eggs. I used the popular brand of semisweet chocolate chips for my semisweet chocolate in this. It was easy and delicious(I like dark chocolate).

Does the recipe call for semisweet chocolate chips or bakers semisweet squares?

Loved this recipe! I made it for a group of friends who all demanded the recipe. My daughter requested it for her 21st birthday cake. Now I am printing the recipe for my neighbor.

The taste of this cake was wondeful!! I have made it with semi-sweet chips( the first time) with milk choc chips for the topping. The second time all semi-sweet chips. The third time with all milk choc chips.. I have yet tried the dark choc.. that will be next.. I did have a hard time getting it out of the pan to cool the extra 20 min..Other than that EASY recipe! Thank you. Also, I finally have a cake that is gluten free that my 85 yr.old aunt can enjoy.

This was easy to make and so deliciously rich. I didn't have hazelnuts so I substituted walnuts. Next time I make it I may just use toasted coconut!

I LOVE flourless chocolate cakes at restaurants and was excited to find this. Not only is it delicious but this was easy to make. I found that directions weren't super clear but make sure you have the first chocolate mixture cooled enough otherwise you'll cook your eggs when you add them. Also, I suggest you make sure the cake is fully cooled in the fridge before you eat this. It was good when it was still soft but it was perfect right out of the fridge.
