Ingredients

1: can (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

1/2: cup mini-chocolate chips

: Powdered sugar, if desired

Directions

1 Heat oven to 350°F. Separate dough into 8 triangles.
2 Place tablespoon of chocolate chips on wide end of each triangle. Roll up, starting at shortest side of triangle, rolling to opposite point. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
3 Bake at 350°F. for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

I have made these for my children for many years, they are now in their late teens and still smile when I make them as a holiday breakfast treat. I used to make a powdered sugar/milk glaze and top with sprinkles depending on the holiday. Simple and yummy.

I have use crescents rolls to make up my recipes. I use each triangle but I brush it with butter and put a teaspoon of almond paste to fill and roll up brush it with white egg wash and top with slice almonds and crystal suger and bake very good, Also can add a small piece of milk chocolate candy to the almond paste and back. I have cut the crescent into half and made mini style.
