These are just what I have been looking for, easy and delicious. I like the dampened sugar on the outside. It gave them just the right touch. I live in senior citizen housing and when I bake, everyone in on hand. These were a great hit, and so simple too. These will probably be a two or three times a month item. Thanks. dearcat

I made this recipe using reduced fat crescents filled with 60% cacao chips (not mini, just regular). I baked them according to directions and then sprinkled with powdered sugar. They were PHENOMENAL... I can't even imagine what someone could do to this recipe to yield 1-Star results. I honestly am baffled by the 3 1/2 star rating.

When you fill the crescents with chips, lay the crescents on a plate with sugar on it, so the outside is covered in sugar to give it a slightly more dessert feel and a little bit sweeter. It also helps enhance the browning affect. If you spray it with a little water before putting it in the oven, it becomes a nice clear glaze.

These were super easy and yummy. I did add some of the new Philadelphia milk chocolate indulgence though and oh my goodness!!! I am not sure if I would have liked them as much if I hadn't of which is why I only gave them 4 stars.

I made these taking the tips from a few of the other reviewers. I used Hershey's almond and toffee bar pieces two in each rolled it up sprinkled light with sugar bake for the proper time cooled then melted some walden farms o calorie chocolate dip and drizzled on them dashed them with some powered sugar and they turned out beautiful. I gave them to a friend for valentines and my friend said they were delightful. I will be making these again for sure. They make a lovely gift.

Sprinkle dough liberally with cinnamon and sugar before adding chips, yum!

My granddaughter called after using the fruit roll ups in the rolls. Her friend suggested the choc. chips. I did not have so I used the nuttella spread on the crescent rolls and added mini marshmellows on top of that. awesome

thin slice some fresh strawberries to sprinkle across the top before serving or work into the filling - can't get more decadent with less effort - than any other recipe I've made!
