I not only quadrupled the recipe, My son wanted chocolate cake and it is a HUGE hit. He found the recipe and requested a simple birthday cake.I could barely finish the topping before they ATTACKED it.Kids loved it! Would really do this again!

I made this cake with my 5 year old son and the whole family loved it. I made a little change to the design of the cake though. I added vanilla frosting and did the swirls but left off the chocolate chips at the top still a very good cake. I never heard of adding sour cream to a cake but that will be a new thing for the cakes I bake from now on. Truly in love with the cake.
