I made this recipe today and I have to say it is excellent. The only thing I did differently was to use PEANUT BUTTER chocolate chip cookie dough. I microwaved the butterscotch chips for 30 sec, added the peanut butter, microwaved 30 sec more and stirred til smooth. Things tend to bake fast in my oven, so I used the minimum baking times. Very good and very rich!

Way too rich for our tastes! Also, the butterscotch chips did not melt properly..not sure how butterscotch fits into a choc-peanutbutter recipe anyway..

I made this exact according to the recipe, brought a batch to work and also brought a batch to a BBQ. Everyone gobbled them up. They are sooo delicious, I can't wait to make them again. They were so easy to make. I would definitely recommend making them for your friends and family. Everyone was impressed.

Personally, I think cream cheese is the bomb but when we were in our vegan phase, I subbed cream cheese with a soy product found in the health food dairy section. It worked great.

I agree with nsmith111. every recipe lately I pull up has cream cheese in it and many people do not like or cannot tolerate cream cheese. I have been disappointed with this. Please show some recipes that do not contain cream cheese or tell us what we can substitute.

Looks delicious. But again. How many recipes this week have involved cream cheese and sour cream? For readers and their families who are lactose sensitive, you present many recipes with no alternatives. Just a suggestion.
