I haven't made these YET but I am also thinking how yummy they would be with a pecan sandy type cookie...

These are in the oven right now. The prep is super easy, and they smell delicious.

My mom has been making this recipe for over thirty years, and it's a hit every time. These are sooooo wonderfully rich, just to die for, but are also pretty easy to make. This is a good recepe to have the kids help you with, too.

1)Used whipped cream cheese if you don't want to wait for the cream cheese to soften.
2)Spray with butter flavored cooking spray
3)Add a splash of vanilla
4)Substitute brown sugar for the white sugar.
Fantastic every time!

These ROCK! I made my own cookie dough for it and toasted the coconut. My hubby LOVED it! Sent some home with the singer from his band, she told me it was like heaven and wants me to make these for her birthday cake! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Warning: They are VERY rich & filling!

I made this, then I substituted sugar cookie, and added raspberry jam. They were great.

Line pan with foil before baking. When you pull it out it is easier to cut and clean-up.

I have been making these for a few years. After taking as a covered dish to some parties, I can't bring anything else anymore - Always the first empty plate!!
