Took this to a party at church. It went so fast I was lucky to get a VERY small piece at the end of the night . I WILL be making this again and again.

I made this and it wasn't at all what I expected. It was very easy to make and I was very excited about it. It was just waay too rich. When it sits in MY house for over 2 weeks until I finally throw it away you know it wasn't good. I think we all tried a small piece but couldn't even finish that one. Bummer...

Barbcullen, you are correct I added vanilla and it was amazing! Not a little but enough for bursting flavor

Today is our 29th Anniversary and this is what I decided to make for dessert. My husband loves chocolate chip cookies and cheese cake. I am going to top it with a little cool whip and some strawberries... Yum!

These are fabulous! However, I do a slight twist to this:
2 (20 oz.) rolls of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
Spray 13 x 9 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Spread one package of cookie dough in bottom of pan. In bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Spread over top of cookie dough. Using hands, crumble dough on top of cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Makes 18-24 squares.
