Sounds delicious!! But my daughter is allergic to almonds. Is there a nut free substitute for the almond paste you can suggest?

Easy to make and are devine! Made them for Easter dinner and they were a major hit. Of course...everyone wants the recipe.

These were WONDERFUL!! They were easy to make. I had trouble finding the almond paste. I found it in a can across from the almond extract. This is a keeper. I made them for V-day and sent some around to my neighbors. They all asked for the recipe!!

These were fantabulous at our Super Bowl party!!! Instead of cherry preserves, I used a can of Comstock cherry pie filling with ¼ tsp of almond flavoring stirred in. Everyone raved!!!

This was an easy recipe and depending on the dried cherries and the cherry jam you use, it is delicious! I used sour cherries and Stonewall Kitchen Sour Cherry Jam. If you love chocolate chips and cherries, you will certainly enjoy this!!!
