I love this recipe and have made it many times. It has become one of my family's top desserts.

I agree there is something not right. I cooked this for over an hour and the brownie mix is still gooey. Very disappointed.

Something is wrong with this recipe. I followed directions in spite of what my experience was telling me. Sure enough I ended up with hot cherries covered with a raw brownie mixture. It smelled good with everyone excited to try it, but noone wanted to eat brownie powder. I quickly stirred it up and returned to oven for 60+ minutes, checking it every 20 to see if the juices would turn it edible. We were very disappointed and wondered if anyone actually tested this recipe. Waste of time and money.
