I really liked this cheesecake a lot. I used chocolate graham crackers for the crust and 1/3 less fat cream cheese. My only suggestion is I would have liked a little more chocolate,so next time I may use hot fudge sauce instead of the chocolate chips. I will def make again though.

WOW!! Absolutely fabulous! After reading another review, I sought out a recipe for a chocolate graham cracker crust, and it worked beautifully. This is so beautiful, luscious, and YUMMY!! If I can do it completely blind, YOU can do it too--and you won't be sorry you did. Enjoy!

I have made this over and over (I have the Pillsbury book with it pictured on the cover)for special occasions, and will make again this Thanksgiving. It is always LOVED, and it's a great departure from the traditional Thanksgiving desserts-though we still have pumpkin pie too-just have to have a small piece of each. I always make with chocolate graham crackers and it turns out beautifully every time. BEST cheesecake recipe I've ever had or made by FAR!

Great recipe. However the crust directions don't work for chocolate graham crackers. More butter is necessary. Besides that it is a great recipe. Next time I try it I will find a graham cracker crust recipe to follow for this.

Wonderful recipe! It came out just as beautiful as the picture and it was absolutely delicious! I already have several requests for more. I also had a hard time finding plain chocolate wafers and contemplated using the oreos and just eating the insides but could not justify the calories!!! I did finally find some wafers but I needed 2 packs and it ended up costing me about $10 just for those. Next time, I will follow the advice of another reviewer and use the chocolate graham crackers. Thanks again for yet another wonderful recipe!

I had picked up a Pillsbury recipe book at the local grocery store with this recipe on the cover several years ago. It had become a "mandate" that I bring it to the holiday family functions. they all raved that best cheesecake ever had. . . then I LOST the book. I could not recall the exact ingrediants. tried other recipes just not as good. am THRILLED to find this on this website. xmas is going to be good!

I made this for Easter and It was AWESOME! I can't believe I managed to get the last slice home. The recipe was easy to follow. The only problem I had was finding chocolate cookies to crumble. I thought Nilla waffers had a chocolate version, but I couldn't find that anywhere. I ended up using Oreos without the filling. My Daughter helped me dispose of the Oreo cream by eating it. she was in Heaven!

Delicious and looks fantastic! I couldn't find plain chocolate cookie crumbs so I substituted chocolate graham crackers and it came out fine! Will make it for a special occasion anytime!
