I used a pre-formed pie crust and a can of chocolate whipped cream, and made an easy-to-make pie even easier. This was insanely delicious!! I will make it again and again.

This recipe was very easy to make and turned out phenomenal! I took it to a family reunion and everyone there loved it. They said they want me to make this pie every time we get together!

RE wohtola: Any cashews are fine to use. I like the salted ones (they must be roasted) to compliment the sweetness of the filling.

I am very interested in making this pie but could anyone tell me about what type of cashews to use? Salted, unsalted, roasted, raw, etc.

I have had this recipe for years. It was in a
Pillbury Holiday (I think) Cookbook. My family
can't celebrate Christmas without this pie. It is
always a hit when I take it to a carry-in.
Easy to make and soooo delicious.
