(1 lb. 2.25-oz.) pkg. pudding-included devil's food cake mix

teaspoon cinnamon

teaspoon cloves

cups shredded carrots (5 medium)

cup buttermilk
1/3
cup oil

eggs
1/2
cup chopped nuts
1/2
cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 13x9-inch pan. In large bowl, combine cake mix, cinnamon, cloves, carrots, buttermilk, oil and eggs; beat at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour into greased and floured pan. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.
  2. 2 Bake at 350°F. for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled.
