This was a big hit at our house this Christmas! The big surprise to everyone was that I did not use "Reese's Peanut Butter Cups" in the ingredients. This was a great treat for all of the peanut butter cup lovers in our family! The mini muffin pan made the size just right!

This recipe is great as it is written. I let them cool completely in the pan. I tried both peanut butter cookie dough and chocolate chip cookie dough. Peanut butter works much better. Also, chill the dough first.

I agree with a couple of the reviews. I've made them with the peanut butter cups but there is NO comparison to the recipe as it is written. FAR better and more impressive! I use a little paring knife to get them ot of the mini muffin pan by putting the tip of the knife in the edge and with a tiny twist they'll pop and loosen from the pan. I had leftover both chocolate and peanut butter mixture so just froze it and melted it later and made more! They are wonderful but I say make them as written. You'll be glad you did!

I decided that 1 hr 40 mins was too long (my chocolate crazing was too strong). I cut the recipe in half, used 6 large muffins, and cut soft cookie dough into twelve pieces. I place one piece for the bottom and crumbles to go around the side. Once the cookie began to bake I shaped them into muffin cups. As for the chips, cutting it in half then simply filling the eitire cup saved me the second melting time. Lastly my daughter is not a granola fan so I used crumbled Special K flakes. I even managed to take them out without breaking due to heavily coated Pam cooking oil sprayed into the pan

i use the Pillsbury break apart chocolate chip cookies and a mini muffin pan, pressing the dough on the bottom and up the sides. when I take them from the oven I press a Reese miniature in the center of each. The only problem I always have is removing the cooled cookies from the pan without them breaking.I make sure to grease the mini muffin pan well but they stick everytime...any suggestions?

Only need about 1/2 the amount of peanut butter. When spraying muffin tin make sure to spray the whole thing, not just the wells. Otherwise the tops bake on, making it very difficult to remove.
