Wonder how this would work if you used the pizza dough rather than the crescent dough...

I didn't have any hazelnut spread around here so I just used peanut butter and banana. It was still delicious!

I'm not a big fan of hazelnut spread, but this is delicious! I'm going to try it next time with a good quality jarred hot fudge sauce instead, though. I like the idea of adding walnuts or pecans, as a previous reviewer suggested, especially if I omit the hazelnut spread.

I made this for the family this morning. I accidentally mis-read on used 1 banana instead of 2. Followed everything else to a T until it cooled. I decided that I would just serve it warm. It seemed that it would be more yummy that way. They ate it and said it was just ok. I wrapped the leftovers in foil and left it on the counter. After dinner they decided to try it again for dessert. This time they liked it much more. I guess it just needs time to cool and/or for the flavors to meld. One of the reasons I decided to let them eat it warm was because the morning was getting late and they needed to eat. When I make this again I will make it after dinner so that it is ready for breakfast.

Awesome! My husband & I loved it. Easy to make, scrumptious & made my house smell wonderful. Crust reminded me of fried ice cream. Great treat to have any time of day with cold milk or vanilla ice cream. Will definitely make more soon. Might be good w/walnuts inside too. I think Elvis Presley would've loved it too. Deelish!

This dish was fantastic! It was so easy to make and SO delicious.
I used my egg-slicer to slice the bananas into uniform pieces and I lined my stoneware baking sheet with parchment paper instead of aluminum foil.
Be sure to follow the directions regarding flouring the wax paper because the crescent roll dough is very sticky.
