I have had similiar recipe in my own cook book for 65 years, since a teen. First cookies I ever made. I just did not have the caramel and choc.. Glad they were added.
Mine were just pecans and homemade sugar cookies and I put lt.green icing on the cookie. I am going to make these, sound delcious

Now this is GOOD southern chocolate food! Where was this recipe about 3 packs of cookies ago? The caramel in the middle of these cookies, make them addictive!!! Especially warm out of the oven. Then there's nothing slow moving about these guys!!! Thanks for the great idea, and of course, for another way to eat our Southern pecans!!!Kudos on this recipe!!
