The flour mixture really thickens the chowder too much for my liking so I added 1 C. low sodium chicken stock before adding the milk. I sauteed about a 1/2 cup of mixed (green red and yellow)diced bell peppers with 6 green onions in 1/2 C. margarine as the base. The kernel corn was a bit too crunchy; I would saute the corn with the veggies on medium heat next time.Adding some diced potatoes to the mix would also be good. I also increased the chipotles to three, added another T. adobo and added about 1 T. cayenne to give it more of a "kick".
