Expert Tips

Some kids don't like pinto beans. To keep everyone happy, heat the beans separately and let diners add them to their tacos if they wish.

My family & I absolutely love this recipe!!! I can't wait to tell my friends about it. This is a kid friendly recipe and a great way to get kids to eat beans!!! I added a can of sloppy joe sauce to the mixture and it gave it an even better taste. This is a recipe you definitely should try! Bon' appetit!!

We love chili dogs....we love tacos.....we Love chili dog tacos! They are quick enough for weeknights, easy enough for the older kids to help assemble, and original enough to intrigue my picky eater. What a winner!

It has always been my impression that a "hot dog" was a wiener in a bun, and Webster's agrees. Did you intend to say wiener instead of "hot dog?" A hot dog will not fit into a taco shell.

Add a can of chilli with no beans and you have a taco chilli dog or coney island taco dog, top with minced onions and mustard. UM UM UM
