Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 oz.) frozen chili or 15-oz. can chili
  • 4 frozen rectangular hash-brown potato patties (from 27-oz. box)
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded Cheddar cheese (2 oz. )
  • 1/2 cup chunky-style salsa
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro, if desired

Steps

    Heat chili as directed on package or can. Fry potato patties in oil as directed on package.

    To serve, place potato patties on individual serving plates. Top each serving with chili. Sprinkle each with cheese. Top with salsa and cilantro.
