cups uncooked rotini pasta (8 oz)

lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef

medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

can (11.25 oz) condensed fiesta chili beef with beans soup
1
jar (8 oz) salsa (1 cup)
1/2
cup water
1
cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)

Directions

  1. 1 Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, in 12-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Reduce heat to medium. Stir soup, salsa and water into beef. Cook until thoroughly heated.
  3. 3 Serve beef mixture over pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.
