Ingredients

(7-oz.) pkg. uncooked spaghetti

cup sliced onion

cup margarine or butter
1/4
cup all-purpose flour
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/2
teaspoon ground sage
1/4
teaspoon pepper

cups chicken broth

cup milk
1
(4 1/2-oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained

cups cubed cooked chicken or turkey
1/2
cup chopped fresh parsley
1/3
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1
(2-oz.) jar diced pimientos, drained
2
oz. (1/2 cup) shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

  1. 1 Cook spaghetti to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, heat oven to 350°F. In large saucepan, cook onion in margarine over medium heat until tender. Stir in flour, salt, sage and pepper; cook until bubbly. Stir in broth, milk and mushrooms. Cook and stir until mixture boils and is slightly thickened.
  3. 3 Stir in cooked spaghetti and all remaining ingredients except Swiss cheese. Spoon into ungreased 12x8-inch (2-quart) baking dish; sprinkle with Swiss cheese.
  4. 4 Bake at 350°F. for 20 to 30 minutes until hot and bubbly. If desired, sprinkle with additional chopped fresh parsley.
