Chicken Strips Italiano with Linguine

Ingredients

oz uncooked linguine

cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4
cup Progresso™ Italian style bread crumbs
1/4
cup Italian dressing
1/2
lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch-thick strips

tablespoon vegetable oil
1
cup tomato pasta sauce
Chopped fresh parsley, if desired

Directions

  1. 1 Cook linguine as directed on package; drain.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix cheese and bread crumbs. Place dressing in another small bowl. Dip chicken strips into dressing; toss in bread crumb mixture to coat evenly.
  3. 3 In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chicken; cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink in center and lightly browned.
  4. 4 In small microwavable bowl, place pasta sauce; cover with waxed paper. Microwave on High 2 to 3 minutes, stirring once, until thoroughly heated. Serve sauce and chicken over linguine; sprinkle with parsley.
