Chicken Fruit Salad

Ingredients

pkg (16 oz) uncooked small shell pasta

cups cubed cooked chicken

cups sliced celery

cups seedless red or green grapes, halved

cans (15 oz each) mandarin orange segments, drained

cup cashew pieces

cups mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4
cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2
cups whipping cream, whipped

Directions

  1. 1 Cook pasta to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; rinse with cold water to cool. Drain well.
  2. 2 In very large bowl, combine cooked pasta and all remaining ingredients except whipped cream; toss to coat. If desired, cover and refrigerate until serving time.
  3. 3 Just before serving, fold in whipped cream. Store in refrigerator.
