Cook chicken patties as directed on package.
Meanwhile, cook rice in water as directed on package. Stir 1/2 cup of the salsa into rice. Cover to keep warm.
In 1 1/2-quart saucepan, combine remaining 1 cup salsa and the cheese; cook over low heat until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.
Place cooked rice on individual serving plates. Top each serving with warm chicken patty. Spoon cheese sauce over top.
