I used 10 oz of salsa instead of the tomatoes with green chiles. YUM! It was super easy to make too.

I made this dish this evening and my husband and I loved it. I did add to the ingredients though. Sauteed 1/2 of a green pepper and 1/2 a medium onion. Then added canned ingredients, chicken AND about a cup of frozen corn. After heating this through, and putting the crescents on top, I sprinkled the top with Mexican-style shredded cheese. I baked as directed and had sour cream and salsa as garnishes. Turned out great! My husband had 3 helpings!

I followed the recipe exactly and it came out really bad.. It was very watery. the undersides of the cresents were very soggy because the rest of it was watery. The cannelini beans were disgusting.. I will not be making this again. I don't normally review recipes but this one really dissapointed me because I just wasted a bunch of chicken and a container of cresents. I dunno what went wrong but it was gross.. my son wouldnt even eat it, and he loves taco flavored stuff.

Sorry, made a similar recipe just with chili, hot dogs, and cheese. But this one looks good too. LOL

My husband loves chili cheese dogs to begin with. When I showed him this recipe he wanted to try it. The crescent rolls give it a good texture. Will definately make this again.
