This is fantastic. Made this, along with some home made potato chips, and took them to an outdoor movie in the park. Everyone was walking by asking where we bought it. The bread is simply delicious. Instead of cutting the little 'V' you could also just cut several slits in the dough with a sharp knife. Not a pretty but just as effective. And, like others say, you can make any type of sandwich on this bread. Meatball subs are really good, the bread soaks up the sauce.

Great, easy, tasty homemade sandwich. Love that the bread isn't so thick, like some store bought sub sandwiches! Very pretty to take to holiday parties and possibilities are endless with the toppings.

Great sandwich and easy to make. For those who found the direction regarding the "v cuts" confusing, take a look at the picture of the sandwich ring. The pice in the bottom right corner shows the "v cut" on the top of the sandwich. It's just a slight cut to vent while baking.

The reason I give this a one is that directions are hard to follow. Should have shown picture of V cut.

How clever and the sky is the limit on alternative types of sandwiches...from Italian (pesto, mozzarella, mushrooms saute, grilled and sliced Italian sausage, and Romaine lettuce....to the all American B.L. T. Well done!! "Kettle" Jund

although I would not take away from the sandwich rating-I too find the "cutting of the v's " confusing and not clear.

This is a nice alternative to regular sandwiches. How hard can it be to make a sandwich? I added sliced avocado and it was scrumptious! Take this to a party even. I dont know why somebody would only give this 1 star. Plus the lady only gave this 1 star because it doesnt show a picture of the V's , it actually does show the V cut in the picture.
