Chicken and Sausage Bow Tie Pasta

Ingredients

1: lb ground sausage mild or spicy

1: lb boneless skinless chicken breast diced

1: white onion diced

1: jalepeno diced

3: garlic cloves minced

1: Tbsp Italian seasoning

1: tsp black pepper

1 1/2: Quarts Heavy Whipping Cream

3: Tbsp Flour

2: Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1: box bow tie pasta

Directions

1 Add olive oil, diced onion, garlic and ground Sausage to large sautee pan and brown until no pink remaians in the sausage. Begin boiling the water for your pasta at this point so it will be done. Cook Pasta to aldente.
2 Remove sausage with a slotted spoon, leaving the grease and oil in the bottom of the pan. Add your diced chicken and cook through.
3 Add the sausage back to the pan with the chicken. sprinkle with the flour and cook through for approximately two minutes.
4 Add the heavy whipping cream, jalepeno, italian seasoning and pepper. Allow the sauce to boil then reduce to a simmer for twenty minutes. Sauce will be thin but will thicken slightly as it stands. Toss with Bow Tie Pasta and serve warm.

If you like a thicker sauce, forgo the dry flower and add a flower and water paste as if you were making gravy. You can also remove the diced jalepeno if you wish to reduce some of the heat.
