Great recipe, substituted pork for italian turkey sausage, no one knew the difference:)very versatile recipe, you can add and substitute to taste preference:)

i omitted the mushrooms, sauteed the sausage in onions and green peppers with some garlic in olive oil. i also added some chopped pepperoni in the sausage mixture. i think thin slices would work better, but we couldn't find it at the market. followed the recipe otherwise. it was tasty, a nice change for dinner, the kids loved it.

I can use something other than sausage? It looks good.

I love this pizza, and have made it several times. I change ingredients depending on what I have in the house. One thing I love to use is Muffaletta. This is always baked through and not soggy!!

I wasn't a big fan of the pillsbury pizza crust. It cooked right, but it tasted like we made pizza on a giant biscuit. I guess I should have expected that, but I was hoping the pizza crust was a different recipe. The filling was delicious though. I will definitely try this with a different crust.

My family really liked this. Must admit I made a Bisquick-inspired crust and used spiced tomato sauce. I left out the mushrooms, olives and green onions to please a family member. I will be making this again.

I use different ingredients, but it always turns out yummy. I like pizza, my husband prefers calzones, so I use the filling he likes in calzones (chunked mushrooms, mozarella, romano and parmesan and Italian sausage) and we are both happy!

I really liked the flavors. I made this for my brother and I for dinner. He liked his as well. I did notice the dough in the center was a little doughy but dont think it was recipe fault. It was hard to know if it needed more time because of how thick it is supposed to be and the toppings.I will make this again.
