I made this dessert for a big family holiday dinner. It was a huge hit! I used strawberry pie filling instead of cherry. I think fresh in-season strawberries would work also. My kids have begged me to make it again. Since it uses a brownie mix, it is super easy!

This recipe was printed on the side of the brownie mix box many years ago. It is fantastic. It stores well and it travels well if you have a 9 x 13 with a plastic/tight fitting lid.%0d%0a%0d%0aIt's easy and I've memorized the recipe. However I use 2 cans of light cherry pie filling instead of 1. It always looks pretty
