Love it- BUT...I use a 6 oz brick of cream cheese, and 2 tubes of dough to make 2 "strudels". I use about 2 TBS of cherry pie filling instead of the jar cherries, and don't use nuts in my filling. I pull the 4 end strips of dough around the sides like a U shape. Press and seal edges before adding 1/4 c of cherry pie filling (heavy on the cherries). Then criss cross strips, add nuts to top and bake. Drizzle with frosting when cool. Freezes great. Gets RAVE REVIEWS, and makes a great gift when left in the parchment and folded in foil ! People always ask where I bought it! ;)

Use a plastic cutting board and saran wrap to roll out dough a little wider. Remove plastic wrap, and place parchment paper sheet on top. Turn on to baking sheet parchment paper side down. Slowly peel away plastic cutting board to now add filling.

Made two of these for Christmas Eve Brunch. One with a whole drained can of pitted tart cherries and one with a whole bag of frozen red raspberries. Used a little more cream cheese and used the Large Butter Cresent Rolls. Made them as a wreath. They were so good and tangy. Just what our family likes. Thanks Pillsbury for such good recipes.

I love this recipe. Makes a nice dessert or breakfast/brunch treat for the holidays or anytime of year. Made exactly at written and it disappeared! Think this one may become a staple!

This is almost the same as a bakeoff recipe from years ago...Cherry Crescent Ring. The original recipe is much better. I am asked to make it for every family get-together.

Can you freeze this and bake it later ? I'm thinking of making a few and giving as gifts.

I think almond is to cherry as lemon is to blueberry. I loved this and so did my bunco group. All that was left was crumbs.

I substituted fresh raspberries and 1/2 orange extract and 1/2 vanilla extract. My family ate the whole coffee cake and asked when I would make it next!

I prepared this yummy recipe for an early morning Church breakfast. I made three coffee braids and they were gone in 10 minutes. I stopped at the grocery store on the way home to get more ingredients and made one for my family. We gobbled it up too! So easy to make!
