Cheesy Green Beans

Give this incredibly simple side dish the green light, and kids will gobble up their fresh green beans--packed with enough vitamins to strengthen even the Green Giant!

Ingredients

teaspoon butter or margarine

tablespoons finely chopped onion

small cloves garlic, finely chopped

cups Green Giant™ Steamers™ frozen cut green beans

tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 In 2-quart saucepan or 10-inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring frequently, until onion begins to brown. Remove from pan; cover to keep warm.
  • 2 In same saucepan or skillet, cook beans as directed on bag; drain. Stir in onion mixture; cook until hot. Add cheese; toss gently to mix.
