Ingredients

cups shredded rotisserie chicken
1/2
package frozen spinach thawed and drained
1
medium onion diced
2 1/2
cups sharp shredded cheddar cheese
2 - 4 cloves minced garlic
3/4
cup cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1/2
teaspoon salt
2
packages crescent rolls

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 Put cooled chicken pieces into large bowl.
  • 3 Add spinach, onion, 2 cups cheese, garlic, soup and salt.
  • 4 Mix well.
  • 5 Place crescent rolls on greased cookie sheet leaving triangles of dough attached to each other.
  • 6 Pinch seams together to make one large rectangle.
  • 7 Place chicken mixture in center of dough, leaving margin of dough on either side of mixture.
  • 8 Cut with knife from chicken mixture out to edge of rectangle.
  • 9 Fold up ends of dough onto chicken mixture.
  • 10 Overlapping strips of dough over entire chicken mixture making for a criss-cross effect.
  • 11 Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  • 12 Bake for 25 minutes.
  • 13 Let stand 5 - 10 minutes before cutting.
