Cheesy Bacon Potato Puffs

Delicious cheesy mashed potatoes wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough. Serve mini-sized as an appetizer, or make them larger for a main dish.

1# Russet Potatoes

Tbsp. Light Sour Cream
2
Tbsp. Land-O-Lakes Unsalted Butter
4
oz. Shredded Velveeta Cheese made with 2% Milk
2
Tbsp. Skim Milk
1/4
cup Real Bacon Bits
2
tubes Pillsbury Reduced-Fat Crescent Rolls

Directions

  • 1 Preheat over to 350 degrees F.
  • 2 Wash, peel, and cut potatoes into chunks and boil for 20 minutes.
  • 3 Separate crescent roll dough into 16 triangles.
  • 4 Drain potatoes. Place back into pan and add milk, butter, and sour cream. Whip until creamy.
  • 5 Stir bacon bits and cheese into potato mixture.
  • 6 Place dollop of potato mixture onto crescent dough triangle.
  • 7 Fold side up and over to create a
  • 8 Place into muffin pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 14 minutes or until golden brown.
