Expert Tips

To roast your own bell peppers, broil or grill them. As the skin on the side near the heat blackens, turn the peppers to expose a new side. When the peppers are completely blackened, remove them from the heat. When they're cool enough to handle, peel off the blackened skin to reveal sweet roasted pepper that you can cut into strips and use for tasty additions to salads and sandwiches--as well as calzones.

This was the best calzone ever! And I'm Italian! I added pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese to make it more interesting. I definitely recommend it.

This was pretty darned good. I added some mozzarella and pizza sauce since just cheese might've been a bit boring. They took about 15 minutes to bake. I used two cans of the biscuits since they are a bit small. Pretty easy and good recipe!
