I'm going to try these tonight. So excited! Am I crazy, though...? Isn't there 8 ounces in a cup? Or am I just that tired tonight..

I have made this recipe for years. The only difference is that I used 2 tubes of regular refrigerator biscuits. I make this in a bread pan. Unroll both tubes of biscuits. Lay the tubes on their side next to each other. I fan apart the biscuits and sprinkle the cheese and garlic powder between them and bake. It comes right out of the loaf pan and it slices apart just like a loaf of bread.

this is a super-easy, delicious accompaniment for soups, chili, and pasta dishes to sop up all the good stuff! i upped the garlic powder to almost a full tsp, but i really love garlic. i also tried substituting the cheddar for a mozzarella/provolone mixture an sprinkled the top with a bit of shredded parmesan when serving it with some lasagna--it was a great garlic bread alternative. you should definitely try this one...

The first time I did it I followed the directions to a T. The baking time was not over and the top of my bread was ALMOST burnt in spots, and not cooked enough on the bottom. Don't know what I did wrong. Anyway I will definatley do it again because the parts that did cook correctly were awesome.

oops I put too much cheese in and the lower layer didn't cook. Question: why does it say..takes 45 min. to prepare? LOL! I'm giving this a five because I know if I prepared it correctly, it would be delicious!!

This was great. I have made it several times. I made it for our holiday dinners, and the kids and the grandkids kept going back for more. It is really good to dip in spaghetti sauce. Or, break up in a bowl and put chili over it.

Hubby and I loved them but kids weren't really that impressed with them.

Made this and it was a hit! I added a little Mosserella and the strings made such a nice affect as we pulled apart the pieces. Great with soups and stews!
