Cereal-Almond Brittle

The secret is not to stir the mixture the whole time it is baking and cooling. A sheet of brittle will form that can be broken into serving size pieces.

Really good recipe! My husband is allergic to nuts so I skipped the almonds and added extra cheerios but it is a really great recipe! Will try again!

I make this and add peanut butter chips and raisins. I send it to my nephew who serves in the US Army while deployed. He loves it and sends messages for more all the time. He can throw it in his rucksack and take with him and it stays very fresh for a long time. Thanks for the great recipe.

I made this, but did not have the Cinnamon Toast Crunch® cereal, so instead I used graham crackers, breaking them into tiny squares, and I added about 1 1/2 t. of cinnamon. It was a BIG hit. I will make it to take on boating and camping trips this summer.
