Carolina Chili Dog Bites

These amazing appetizers are a great spin on the all american chili dog. They are great for watching football on Sunday or as starter for the 4th of July BBQ.

Ingredients

: Pillsbury® Refrigerated Crusty French Loaf (1 can) 11 oz

2: Tablespoons LAND O LAKES® Stick Butter

1/8: Teaspoon McCormick® Chili Powder Spices

: Carolina Bright Leaf Red Hotdogs

1/2: Cup Carolina Bright Leaf Chili

1/2: Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Directions

1 Cut hot dogs into 1/4 inch bite size pieces.
2 Mix chili, cheese, hot dogs and chili powder into a bowl.
3 Blend will with spoon until mixture sticks together.
4 Using a spoon or small melon baller, form 12 balls of the hot dog mixture onto a baking sheet.
5 Place mixture into the refrigerator for one hour to firm.
6 Remove Pillsbury® Refrigerated Crusty French Loaf and slice into 12 equal pieces.
7 Let cool 5 minutes before serving and enjoy.

would love to make this because it looks like it has potential. Is the chili warmed first, some other estentials like measurements might be handy.Come on Dough Boy, you're better than this.

How can Carolina Chili Dog Bites recipe be rated when the ingredients and amounts are not included in the recipe?

The recipe works best with Carolina Bright Leaf hot dogs and chili. This recipe can be made with other hot dogs or chili but to caputre the true North Carolina flavor, use Bright Leaf products. They can be found at www.carolinapackers.com
