This sounds good. I didn't see the temperature and the cook time though. I'd cut down on the allspice though.

This was certainly not a very good pie. First off, the recipe could have used 6 cups of sliced apples, versus 4. Also, WAY too much Allspice. I should have followed my instinct and not used that much. Way too overpowering. I would cut it down to maybe a half tsp! I will definitely not make this again.

Pre heat oven to 375 degrees. Place pie on a baking sheet and cover loosely with foil for 30 min. turn oven down to 350 degrees, remove foil and continue to bake for additional 15 min.
Allow pie to cool as for the carmel and apple juices to emulsify!
