Caribbean Jerk Turkey with Bananas

Ingredients

tablespoon Caribbean jerk seasoning

lb. fresh or frozen turkey tenderloins, thawed

tablespoons brown sugar
1
tablespoon lime juice
1
tablespoon water
2
small firm bananas, diagonally sliced

Directions

  1. 1 GRILL DIRECTIONS: Heat grill. Rub jerk seasoning onto both sides of turkey tenderloins.
  2. 2 When ready to grill, place turkey on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals; cover grill. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until turkey is fork tender and juices run clear, turning once.
  3. 3 Meanwhile, in medium skillet over medium-low heat, combine brown sugar, lime juice and water; mix well. Add bananas; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until bananas are warm.
  4. 4 To serve, cut turkey into slices. Serve bananas with turkey.
