My son-in-law loves apple pies. I made this pie one year for a family get together. He loved it and says no other apple pie will do for him after this one. Thanks for a winner!

Tons of compliments on this recipe. Said it was the best apple pie they ever had. Only thing I changed was I used regular carmel dip, couldn't find toffee carmel.

The toffee caramel dip is probably in the produce section - right next to the candied apple dip. But, I'm going to go with the caramel ice cream topping. This should satisfy my caramel craving for a little while.

I think I will try using plain caramel ice cream topping and adding toffee chips (not the chocolate kind) with the apples - I've never seen toffee caramel dip.

could be a good alternate to the classic Apple Pie...the pecans dress it up a bit.
