I made this for Superbowl Sunday. It was a big hit. I did not have expresso granules so I used 3 tablespooons of instant coffee in the cakemix which gave it a strong coffee flavor,which we love. For the topping, I used a pint of heavy cream and added a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa, three tablespoons of confectioners sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon. I will definitely be making this again.

Absolutely the best! Loved it and so did my friends. I have made it several times and will do so again.

I've made this twice and both times, the friends I've shared it with were diffinently going to make it. They all said it taste like MORE. I changed the caramel layer with smaller amount of coffee, but either way the friends loved it.
