There are no longer any chai latte mixes to be found. This is the second recipe you've printed but these mixes are not in stores. The recipe sounds tgreat, if this were available.

I'm going to try this with toffee bits istead of nuts on top for a variation.

I found these to be just delicious and way too easy :) It's very nice that there are only a few ingredients. %0d%0a%0d%0aI made them and brought a few in to some discriminating and honest palates at work. They loved it. I made it last night for a last minute dessert for the husband to bring in to work for a party. It also makes the whole house smell fantastic. If you aren't hungry, you will be. %0d%0aHaving 16 pieces works out well, b/c they are a bit "sweet" IMO but that's ok. I have a piece each morning with my tea or latte. I love it!%0d%0a

use the brand "Oregon Chai". In New York you can find it in the super Walmarts tea section. Use the rest of the box for tea just like Dunkin Donuts Chai Tea they served in the past.

Very tasty. The bars were a real hit. Substituted homemade sugar cookie dough for Pillsbury tube.

This was wonderful, and very addictive!! I had a hard time finding the chai tea latte mix (didn't see that note about looking in the heath food section until now) but I finally did find an 8 oz container of vanilla chai latte mix. I'm not sure if that was the right one to use, but I measured out 1 ounce, followed the recipe and it came out wonderful. I think that chai latte was what added the definately addictive flavor. I also used the caramel topping in a jar and it wasn't gooey at all. It came out perfectly chewy, which is just how I like my cookie bars. This is definately a keeper/
