This is very good. I made one last night for my office and another one tonight for a tailgate party. This works well in an 8 x 8 pan also.

This was a very good recipe, made it for new years and will be making it again this week end.

This pie was too dry for me. I would delete the oatmeal and add a sauce of apple juice, butter and corn starch. Also, I would buy caramel sundae syrup to dizzle over pie.
This is a beautiful pie made up.'
I did make a sauce as I suggested above and cut slices and used this sauce as a topping. Also, with vanilla ice cream.
This pie took a little more time and I was not happy that it was dry.

I loved this recipe and so did my entire family at Thanksgiving! This pie was the only one to be completly and it was the one to be gone first! They all loved this recipe. I used granny smith apples and they really had a nice flavor. The apples had good flavor, but i would use more cinnamon next time than the nutmeg. Everything came out perfectly done, i made sure to cover the pie crust with foil and removed it about 10 minutes before the pie was done. Excellent!!

My husband loved this recipe, but he'd have to beg me to make it again. It was a lot of work!
