teaspoon grated gingerroot

teaspoon vegetable or sesame oil
Dash pepper

(4-oz.) orange roughy fillets

teaspoon sesame seed, toasted, if desired*

Directions

  1. 1 In 8-inch square (2-quart) baking dish, combine all ingredients except orange roughy fillets and sesame seed; mix well. Place fish in soy sauce mixture; turn to coat. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to marinate.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, heat oven to 375°F. Cover baking dish with foil. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. If desired, a small amount of sauce can be spooned over each serving. Place fish on serving platter; sprinkle with sesame seed.
