I substituted 1 cup cooked brown rice for the 1 cup instant rice and used 1/2 cup egg substitute for the 2 eggs. My husband , I found this to be a great alternative to cabbage rolls and I froze the leftover servings for future meals.

Much easier and faster than making cabbage rolls, however, I still like cabbage rolls better. I don't know why. It has the same ingredients. But on a work-night, there's not enough time to make cabbage rolls, so this is an excellent alternative.

My husband really liked it. I thought it was a little too sweet for my tastes. Next time I make it I'll probably double the sause but cut back on the brown sugar and add more vinegar. Has anyone tried it this way? I like a tangier sause.

This recipe is great. Next time I will double the sauce.I used left over rice I had so it was really easy.

I am constantly begging my Serbian friends to make cabbage rolls for me, so when I found this recipe I was thrilled. I drizzled a little extra vinegar in the meat mixture (I love picked cabbage). It was absolutely wonderful and so quick and easy to make!!! It's even better the next day and everyone that I have made this for asks for recipe.

A great and easy recipe!! Leftovers were gone that night. I might make double the sauce next time just because we loved it so much. Definitely going into the rotation!!

Everyone raved about this when I made it. The only thing I'd do differently next time is put all of the cabbage on the bottom because the cabbage on the top was crunchy. Great concept though and so easy to make!
