Buttons and Bows Tuna Casserole

Here's a quick-to-fix stovetop version of the standard tuna casserole, made with a fun combination of wagon wheel and bow tie pasta. You can also use all one pasta shape, if that's what you have on hand.

oz. (1 cup) uncooked wagon wheel pasta

oz. (3/4 cup) uncooked bow tie pasta (farfalle)

cup frozen sweet peas
1/2
cup milk

(10 3/4-oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1
(6-oz.) can water-packed tuna, drained

  • 1 Cook pastas to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; return to saucepan.
  • 2 Add peas, milk, soup and tuna; mix gently until well combined. Cook over medium heat until peas are tender and mixture is thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. If desired, top with crushed potato chips.
