Our son is working on his cooking merit badge for boy scouts. He made this recipe for our family of 3 super bowl party. Loved it! Couldn't find refrigerated crusty French or country Italian loaf, used simply rustic French bread. Very hard to separate into 8 rectangles. Suggestion: What ever Pillsbury bread you can find, roll out bread, cut into 4 squares. Follow recipe making 2 large sandwiches. When completed, cut large sandwiches into quarters and serve as finger sandwiches with blue cheese or ranch dipping sauce. We love this recipe and will make it again. My son also made these

My husband is a picky eater and we both thought this meal was a winner! The bread cooked up really well and quickly in our panini pan. We used feta instead of blue cheese as we don't enjoy eating blue cheese. We served a salad along with this sandwich to complete the meal. This was a super easy and delicious meal which will frequent our summer meal planning for sure!
