Instead of the regular pretzels I added the Buffalo wing pieces by Snyder and it was absolutely yummy!!

I followed a recommendation above and cut the celery seed down to 1 1/2 tsp. I would definitely cut it down to 1 tsp as the taste of it was a bit strong for me. Next time I would cut down the cereals a bit and up the pretzels and crackers so the balance is a little more even. Super easy recipe, my husband said it was good...he is a buffalo spice lover. :)

I found this in the Sunday ads and thought interesting. I made it for the Christmas party at my husbands work. He is a US Marine and the local American Legions post hosts the gathering. And it was a hit!!! I ended up copying the recipe to email to his fellow Marines who asked for it. The only thing I changed was using the spicy/fiesta ranch dressing mix instead of the regular one.I'll say well done to the winner of the contest who invented this new party mix!!!!

I thought it was good, but left out half of the celery seed. Next time, I would leave out all but maybe a 1/4 of it.

I do not like Buffalo anything, but my husband is a big fan. I decided to be nice and make this for him for Christmas Eve and take it to his family's house, who also likes Buffalo flavors. Well, he tried it and wouldn't even let it out the door except straight to the trash can. He said that it was disgusting. The ranch dressing mix was the downfall, according to him. I will not be making it again, though, as he didn't think it would redeem itself even without the ranch.
